Customers must lease an approved eMTA modem capable of DOCSIS 3.1 from Sparklight in order to receive the Internet and Phone services listed. Customers may lease eero Wi-Fi devices for an additional fee for Wi-Fi coverage. Speeds available over Wi-Fi will be limited by the capabilities of the Wi-Fi router and environmental variables, including size of home, distance of devices from the router, device performance, and thickness of walls.
In order to receive any promotional rate, or to determine deposits or install fees, you will be required to authorize that Sparklight may obtain a consumer report about you in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Full discounted installation could require enrolling in our Sparklight Easy Pay program.
May only be used within the first 30 days of new service and only once for a particular service by any customer. Refunds will consist of the money paid for the service(s) canceled as well as applicable taxes and fees but does not include long distance phone charges. Restrictions apply.
Sparklight manages bandwidth consumption of Internet services to provide the best experience for all customers. Internet speeds will vary by customer based upon time of day, network congestion, customer equipment and other factors. When there is network congestion impacting fellow subscribers, and when your own data usage exceeds 5TB, your data speeds may be slowed to 10Mbps x 1Mbps until the end of your billing cycle.

Our home phone service utilizes equipment that is connected to your home’s power. If there is power interruption to your home, your service will not work. Backup batteries or Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS) can be purchased from brick-and-mortar or online retailers and can provide up to 24 hours of power for our equipment should a power outage occur. We’ve identified and tested two products manufactured by APC that offer a 2-year warranty, can operate between 5*F and 113*F, have lights to monitor the power source, and include an easy test button. Customers who wish to have an alternative battery backup or an extended battery backup period can purchase a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) from a retailer that supplies a replacement battery compatible with the eMTA. More information can be found on our support article

A battery indicator LED on the front of the eMTA will indicate whether the included battery is functioning properly. Sparklight leased eMTA's include an option for battery replacement should it fail during the subscription term - please call technical support if you believe your battery is not functioning properly. Batteries supplied by Cable One/Sparklight should be stored in the eMTA battery compartment and between -4℉ and 140℉.
