Paperless Billing Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”)

Enrollment requirements

The paperless billing (“Paperless Billing” or “Paperless Bill(s)”) option requires a valid email address, an online account with Cable One, Inc. dba Sparklight (“Sparklight”) that can be accessed via username and password (“Online Account”), and an active Sparklight account number. You may enroll in Paperless Billing at any time. You agree that all your enrollment information is accurate and that you will notify Sparklight and promptly update any information that changes or has changed. It is your responsibility to protect and safeguard all usernames and passwords for Paperless Billing.

Bill delivery and presentment

Upon enrollment in Paperless Billing, one last paper bill may be mailed to your current address on file with Sparklight.

Notification

Sparklight will use its best efforts to present your paperless bills promptly. Sparklight will send an email notification to the email address listed on your account. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that this information is and remains accurate. In the event you do not receive an email notification, it is your responsibility to log into your Online account to review your Paperless Bills and account balance(s).

Payment of Bills

It is your sole responsibility to pay your Sparklight bill on time to avoid late fees, collection activity, and/or service disconnection.

Billing Disputes

Any disputes regarding the accuracy or completeness of your Paperless Bill shall be subject to the terms and conditions of service for your Sparklight account.

Termination/Cancellation of Paperless Billing

You may terminate Paperless Billing at any time by logging into your Online account. After you terminate Paperless Billing, future bills will be mailed to your current address on file with Sparklight. Please make sure to pay your final paperless bill by the due date.

Changes to or Cancellation of Paperless Billing

Sparklight reserves the right to change or cancel the Paperless Billing option at any time and to provide notice electronically or by other means. You agree to accept legal and other notices about Paperless Billing electronically.

Non-Delivery of Paperless Billing(s)

If Sparklight’s emails to you are returned as undeliverable, Sparklight reserves the right to terminate your Paperless Billing and revert to sending you a paper bill. You may enroll again at any time after correcting any email address errors through your Online account. These Terms and Conditions do not alter your liability or obligations that currently exist between you and Sparklight concerning your use of other products and services. Neither termination nor cancellation shall affect your liability or obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

EXCLUSIONS OF WARRANTIES

THE PAPERLESS BILLING OPTION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK FOR USE OF THE PAPERLESS BILLING OPTION. SPARKLIGHT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT PAPERLESS BILLING INFORMATION, PROCESSES, OR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, USEFUL, FUNCTIONAL OR ERROR-FREE. IF APPLICABLE STATE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW THE DISCLAIMER OF CERTAIN IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THE RELEVANT PORTIONS OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge that you: (i) can access and read these Terms and Conditions, and (ii) consent to receiving your bill exclusively through electronic means.

AUTHORITY

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree and represent that you have the authority to accept and receive Paperless Billing (and, if applicable, discontinue Paperless Billing) for this Sparklight account, including the authority to agree to the Terms and Conditions herein.
